Purpose: For automatic dosing and packaging of products into 3-seam "Stick" sachets from a film roll.

Products: Food and technical products that generate a lot of dust, such as: ground coffee, 3-in-1 coffee, spices, seasonings, powdered sugar, cappuccino, dietary supplements, fertilizers, agrochemicals, and other similar powdery products.

Packaging Materials: BOPP films, laminates, laminated paper, and multilayer films. Film thickness: from 20 to 70 µm.

Operating Principle: The film is unwound from the roll and passes through a tension roller and a photo mark sensor zone. On the collar forming tube, the film strip is shaped into a tube. A longitudinal (center) seal is made. Next, the horizontal sealing jaws form two transverse seals and cut the film between them. At this stage, the previous sachet is sealed and the bottom of the next sachet is formed. While the new sachet is being pulled forward, the machine sends a signal to the dosing unit to dispense the product. The auger filler dispenses the product through a tube into the formed sachet. The auger screw, located inside the filling tube, picks up the product from the conical hopper and fills it into the bottom of the sachet. This system prevents dust clouds and keeps the sealing area of the film clean. Scrapers inside the conical hopper remove product from the walls and direct it toward the auger screw. The dosing speed is controlled by a frequency inverter, and the screw rotation angle is calculated via an encoder. This allows the machine's controller to calculate the exact number of screw revolutions needed to reach the desired dose. Simultaneously, the film is pulled to the required sachet length. Sachet length is controlled either by a photo mark printed on the film or, if no mark is present, by a set length defined in the machine’s settings. After dosing and pulling the film, the machine initiates the next cycle: the previous sachet is sealed, and the bottom of the next sachet is formed.
